  6. CharConv is a program that can convert plain text files between different
  7. character sets. Currently built-in character sets are Amiga (Latin-1),
  8. IBM PC (CodePage 437), SF7 (Swedish/Finnish 7-bit) and Macintosh and
  9. you can also use the charsets in L:FileSystem_Trans/. CharConv can also
  10. change the end-of-line sequence to CR, LF or CRLF.

  12. New feature in 1.5: CharConv can now also strip ANSI sequences from
  13. the text.

  15. CharConv is a free program released under the concept of FreeWare.
